Paul is a close protection specialist and medic who works well under pressure, honing a wide range of skills developed during an 11-year career with Commando Forces. With 7 years’ experience in Europe, the UK, America, the Middle East and Africa within the private security sector including leadership, decision-making, observation skills and safety awareness. Paul has a wide experience working abroad in both hostile and challenging environments.

In his extensive career, Paul has provided executive close protection to serving British Diplomats from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Home Office and British ambassadors, working with UK special branch firearms officers on VIP visits to Afghanistan.

He acted as a risk management consultant providing close protection on a Department of State Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs contract, which involved working in various locations around the world.

Paul has conducted venue and route recce reports produced security assessments and planned and executed hostile environment training for clients and national teams. As a team leader, he directed numerous assignments which involved planning, co-coordinating and executing missions.

He was a security reconnaissance team operator and medic, contributing to safe and secure conduct of operations and training. He has also carried out reconnaissance of reconstruction projects and liaised with third parties according to specific operational information and liaison requirements.
