Alongside active security protection services, Protectus has been involved in sensitive investigative reconnaissance work. We were personally requested by aides to a high net worth family to investigate an allegation of theft by an integral member of the family’s staff. It was suspected that the staff member had, over several years, been stealing expensive items and appropriating heirlooms from the family.
Protectus planned an operation involving identification of the staff member by analysing security footage and utilising facial recognition services to ensure the team was able to provide a comprehensive report of their findings. The family was consulted, and Protectus was able to work with them to successfully remove the staff member from service while preserving discretion and precluding the staff member from releasing sensitive information about the family and its business.
